ECNL and ECNL - RL Boys

For 2025 we are extremely excited to add an ECNL-RL program to our North community - providing opportunities for our players who are ready for more!

Real Colorado ECNL Program is the perfect platform for those players who want to play at the highest level while still playing for their high school or those who’s development path to our academy program might be a little slower for any number of reasons. We expect our players interested in this program to be excellent in both player and in person. Our goal is to develop a game-centric approach allowing for long-term development to occur through the refining of talent through challenge and application of skills and tactics. As the sport of soccer grows in the United States, young players in our country need the proper environment to compete against the world’s elite. The ECNL programs provide a national platform for development and competition for the nation’s top youth soccer players, coaches and referees by emphasizing development through quality training and limited, meaningful competition.

Player Placement will take place beginning May 1st. Players from outside of Real Colorado are strongly encouraged to reach out prior to these dates for an individual trial opportunity.

Elite Player Placement

YTS

The YTS Program is offered by Real Colorado as a supplemental training opportunity designed to provide U10–U13 players and families with exposure to a high-level training environment connected to the club’s national platforms. Sessions are led by Academy staff, club directors, and occasional guest coaches, with the goal of supporting player development for participants from both inside and outside Real Colorado. Players from any community or club may register to participate throughout the year.

YTS consists of weekly training and educational sessions delivered in seasonal segments (spring and fall), with optional opportunities available during the summer and winter. Training activities may include internal training games and learning experiences that support development in a structured environment. Participation in YTS is voluntary and fee-based, and involvement does not imply selection, placement, or commitment to any Real Colorado team. Players are encouraged to remain fully engaged with their current teams and clubs during their participation.

The purpose of YTS is to provide players and families with an opportunity to learn more about training standards, expectations, and environments associated with national competition platforms such as the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), ECNL Regional League (ECNL-RL), and broader player development pathways, while continuing to prioritize their current club commitments. Coaches will not discuss placement within Real Colorado until May 1st of the current seasonal year.

Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Coaching Assignments

The Real Colorado staff is excited to announce our coaches for the upcoming MLS Next, ECNL and ECNL-RL teams. Even as we are confident in the accuracy of these decisions, it’s important to stress a player is accepting a position on a team at Real Colorado. Further, it’s our expectation if there are future changes to the coaching lineup, the experience for the player and her team will remain consistent.
