Should you have a game canceled by weather or need to cancel/reschedule a game, please follow the steps below:
NOTE: If you need to cancel a scheduled game because short players, out of town, etc, you must cancel the game no later than 11am on Wednesday by emailing your Rec Director, Bri Sherer, or we will be billed for a referee.
CONTACT: If you are canceling a game, please contact your opponent as soon as possible. If you are working to reschedule a game canceled by weather, please reach out as soon as possible to begin the dialog.
COOPERATE - Agree on ideally THREE DIFFERENT dates that both teams can play the rescheduled game, with the opposing coach. Weeknights, Sundays, and double headers are viable options for making up a missed game.
SUBMIT - Fill out the reschedule form for your appropriate age group and submit.
a. Submit the game reschedule form. The game reschedule form provides us with the necessary information to quickly get your game rescheduled. Please select THREE DIFFERENT dates.
b. Your proposed dates should be at least a week later than the original game to allow for the reschedule to be completed and if your team has a referee, it gives the referee assignor time to find a referee. If you submit with less than a week, we will request a referee, but it becomes less likely the closer we are to the game date.
Recreational Director RESPONSE - Once the form is submitted, Bri will email the coaches the new game information, and update your game schedule in Playmetrics (be sure to re-sync the calendar to show the changes).
