North ECNL-RL: Proudly serving Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer & Weld Counties and everyone interested

Real Colorado ECNL Program is the perfect platform for those players who want to play at the highest level while still playing for their high school or those who’s development path to our academy program might be a little slower for any number of reasons. We expect our players interested in this program to be excellent in both player and in person. Our goal is to develop a game-centric approach allowing for long-term development to occur through the refining of talent through challenge and application of skills and tactics. As the sport of soccer grows in the United States, young players in our country need the proper environment to compete against the world’s elite. The ECNL programs provide a national platform for development and competition for the nation’s top youth soccer players, coaches and referees by emphasizing development through quality training and limited, meaningful competition.

Player Placement will take place beginning May 1st. Players from outside of Real Colorado are strongly encouraged to reach out prior to these dates for an individual trial opportunity.

Key Dates:

  • May 1st, 2026 - Players from current ECNL programs can trial without club permission.

  • Prior to May 1st, 2026 - Current players with another clubs ECNL program must get written approval to attend a trial.

Tryouts are invite only and will be held at Sandstone. You must complete the North ECNL RL interest form and be approved by Alastair to attend tryouts.

North Boys ECNL-RL Interest Form

  • Real Colorado is excited to share that we are adding U11 and U12 from the same teams as our ECNL and ECNL-RL program to the Pre-ECNL platform beginning in the 2026–2027 season.

    Pre-ECNL is designed as a supplemental competition opportunity, adding to the environment our players already experience.

    What this means for our players:

    • 6–7 additional games played locally throughout the Fall and Spring

    • Opportunities to participate in Pre-ECNL events, including a season-ending championship format

    • Continued participation in CSA as our primary league

    What this does not change:

    • Our approach to development remains the same. Pre-ECNL is one piece of the pathway, not a destination. Our focus continues to be on providing the right environment, level of challenge, and long-term development for every player.

    At Real Colorado, we are fortunate to offer multiple platforms across our club, allowing us to place players where they will grow and succeed over time.
