National Signing Day

National signing day can be one of the most exciting days of the year for a student athlete. The effort and work it takes to get recruited, investigate schools, maintain the highest standard of grades and also excel in a sport is amazingly demanding.  With the challenge of COVID-19, this class has experienced challenges we hope will never occur again. and we know there will be more.  Less than 2% of all high school aged athletes received a college scholarship in athletics.  At Real, we are typically in the 30%-35% average for our players who want to continue playing in college.  Today, we get to celebrate our players, the players that had the desire, talent, character and have chosen to make playing collegiate soccer a reality.  We are so extremely proud of our class of 2021, and we expect this list to grow as several players are still deciding on the school that will best match their interests.  The commitment, sacrifices and efforts are honored today as each signs their National Letter of Intent, formally committing them to the school they will attend next Fall.  Congratulations, best wishes and please take it kindly that we don’t want you to come back!  That is except for summers, winters and breaks!!
