Real Colorado Overview

Real Colorado sets the standard for the youth soccer experience, offering the most comprehensive program available from the youngest player to the elite athlete at the highest levels of soccer competition in the country. We offer our players more ways to learn and grow their love of the game than any other club in our State. Our programs are sometimes imitated, but the opportunities we can provide to grow each and every player are truly unmatched.

Our club includes nearly 4,000 families and more than 450 soccer teams across Highlands Ranch, Parker and Castle Rock, Colorado in both recreational and competitive teams. Year after year we’ve won championships at the local, state and national level and consistently rank as one of the Top 20 clubs in the U.S. from Soccer America.  Real players have gone on to play in Major League Soccer and give back to Real after college graduation with their time and talents.

From fun on the field to cutting-edge programs, you can find it all at Real. We encourage you to explore all we have to offer on our website and to ask questions about our programs any time at RealCares@RealColorado.net.

We hope to see you on our fields soon!

Mission Statement

Real Colorado Soccer is a community based organization committed to helping each player learn, grow, and celebrate his or her love of the game. We are dedicated to developing character, integrity, and personal growth for the youth player, student athlete and future leader. We serve our community by continuing a tradition of fun and excellence in developing players, coaches and teams.

Real Colorado Soccer will provide quality programs, facilities, staff, education, leadership and management while developing youth. As we celebrate our accomplishments at Real Colorado, we do not lose sight of the challenges before us. Together with the Board of Director’s, the staff at Real establishes an agenda to prioritize immediate needs and long term plans. A campaign is in place to allow us to secure our own soccer fields. As members of the Red Bull league and the US Soccer Developmental Academy, we are working closely with their organizational staffs to shape the structure of the programs and meet the needs of our participants. We continue to attract and hire a professional staff that shares our philosophy and is committed to keeping Real Colorado at the cutting edge of soccer in Colorado.

Real Colorado was founded as the Douglas County Soccer Association in 1986 as a grassroots effort to provide a positive soccer experience to local youth in Douglas County. In our short tenure, we have recognized unprecedented growth in our membership and scope of programs. We now serve 4,600 players representing 3,700 families, which comprise over 450 teams. Our membership is rich in diversity, drawing from a wide geographic region and enhanced by the multi-cultural backgrounds of our players. Our staff recognizes the value of each member and embraces our responsibility to develop disciplined, well-rounded and successful student-athletes for the future. Real Colorado actively participates with governing bodies at the local and national level to ensure that we are actively engaged in decisions that impact our youth. Soccer organizations in Colorado are many; but Real Colorado has separated itself at the national level by the caliber of student-athletes who represent our club. Our on-field success generates invitations to compete at the most elite College Showcase tournaments, with our teams comprised of players with ODP and US National Team credentials. Recognition by Soccer America as a Top 20 Club in the US for 2007 and 2008 is a testimony to our strength as a staff and organization. Our staff prides itself on meeting your personal goals for your soccer experience; from those seeking an opportunity for recreational team play to those who strive to play at the collegiate level.
